Cosmopolitan Industries (Cosmo) provides day programs for 400 adults with intellectual disabilities (Participants) in Saskatoon and surrounding area. 

It requires 125 staff members to provide attention and support for our Participants.  It takes a city full of caring people to ensure that each Participant can live a better, a more productive and a more meaningful life.  

Paper turns into opportunity at Cosmo.  Over 100 adults with intellectual disabilities process, sort, shred and recycle paper at Cosmo.  The residents and businesses in Saskatoon who give us their newspaper and cardboard for recycling or their  documents for confidential shredding are our PAPER ANGELS.

Written and sung by Paul Runalls, this is Cosmo's inspiring signature song telling the story of adults with intellectual disabilities and their respected place in the community. Our success is due to the efforts of the residents of Saskatoon who act as Paper Angels for Cosmo

Cosmo started the paper recycling program in Saskatoon over 35 years ago. (A very interesting story that can be found here.)  This web site is dedicated to all the PAPER ANGELS who believe that persons with disabilities can make a contribution to the community through their efforts and dedication.
